Southern Belgium’s CleanTech Business and Innovation Ecosystems is paving the way for a more sustainable future

From innovative solar farms to cutting-edge wind energy projects, Wallonia is at the forefront of clean energy innovation. As we continue to invest in renewable technologies, it’s vital that we come together as industry leaders and share insight into our committed to building a greener tomorrow.

We, Wallonia-Brussels, and GreenWin are proud to have worked in collaboration with Cambridge Cleantech to connect industry leaders from Southern Belgium and the UK. This incredible opportunity to learn and be inspired helped shared industry insights, explore innovative solutions and discover the latest trends in clean technology, along with strategic innovation projects with international partnerships and how to participate & fund EU projects.

The culmination of this cross-organizational event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by GreenWin, District Cleantech and Cambridge Cleantech, taking significant strides towards fostering CleanTech innovation and collaboration between the UK and Belgium, by focusing on CleanTech roadmaps covering hydrogen, carbon capture and utilization (CCU), circularity, power to X, and innovation in construction to build a sustainable CleanTech future together.

This seminar was organised by GreenWin in collaboration with AWEX UK, Wallonie Bruxelles International , General Representation of Wallonia-Brussels in the UK, Embassy of Belgium in the United Kingdom, and Cambridge Cleantech.
